Crater with Asymmetric Ejecta Blanket Southeast of Hellas Planitia

Asymmetry
With an asymmetric, butterfly pattern-like, ejecta blanket, this may be indicative of a low angle asteroid impact. HiRISE imaging will allow us to determine if that’s the case, or if the asymmetry is due to erosional processes.
