Inverted Channel in Eastern Arabia Terra

An Inverted Channel in Eastern Arabia Terra
This image shows a wide, layered ridge in eastern Arabia Terra. It’s comprised of multiple superposing branches, and is likely an inverted channel or a distributary fan feature. It is Noachian in age and has been incised by a later valley, indicating this region underwent multiple phases of fluvial processes.
