Small Crater Northeast of Hellas Planitia

Small Crater Northeast of Hellas Planitia

A Small Crater Northeast of Hellas Planitia
This image shows a small, under 1-kilometer diameter crater on a ridge with an exit breach on its western side. Was the crater filled with water that later overtopped the rim and cause a flood? This crater could be a small-scale example of a process that caused large crater lakes and large floods, such as in Aram Chaos.
