Cluster of Craters on Floor of Koval Sky Crater

Cluster of Craters on Floor of Koval Sky Crater

The Crater Cluster of Koval Sky
Within Koval Sky Crater are clusters of ring mold craters, thought to be formed by impacts into ice. Fresh, non-ring mold craters are also present in this region, implying the disappearance of near-surface ice. This observation may help us investigate the presence of ice and temporal changes in the depth of the ice.
