Cratered Cone North of Noctis Fossae

Cratered Cone North of Noctis Fossae

A Cratered Cone North of Noctis Fossae
This possible volcanic cone with a cratered summit is of interest as an analog to terrestrial cinder cones. Source material for the windblown bedforms around the base are also worth a look. The region appears to be made of many overlapping lava flows, supporting the volcanic origin of this feature.
