Stratigraphy Exposed in Walls of Hephaestus Fossae

Stratigraphy Exposed in the Walls of Hephaestus Fossae
A previous HiRISE image showed a nice view of the subsurface layering exposed in the wall of the fossae. This has been useful for analysis of the subsurface structure near the InSight landing site, so this observation can help us to measure the thickness of the layers and the size of the blocks.
