Ejecta around Sibiti Crater

Ejecta around Sibiti Crater

Ejecta around Sibiti Crater
The goal of this observation is to examine the ejecta blanket of Sibiti Crater, located in Coprates Chasma in Valles Marineris. In particular, we are looking for melt-bearing deposits in the ejecta blanket including melt ponds and features called herringbone cross-stratification, a type of sedimentary structure formed in tidal areas and flats.
