The goal of this image request is to document the upper channel feeding the Peace Vallis alluvial fan in Gale Crater. Our high resolution picture can provide context for MSL imagery by the ChemCam instrument on the rover. It is used to perform rapid chemical and microscopic reconnaissance. This observation is at the northern rim of Gale Crater.
