The placement of the crater partially into the dark-floored valley in Thaumasia Fossae is causing an unusual interaction. In particular, a pile-up of material that appears to be made up of smaller blocks or units. Mapping their distribution and sizes could be helpful to get a better grasp on what is happening here.
