Often times, an image is requested to create a stereo pair for a future anaglyph, which helps to study the Martian terrain in better detail. That’s the case with this observation: to create a 3D image of these dunes located near the central peak of an unnamed impact crater. Nilosyrtis Mensae is called “fretted terrain” with cliffs, mesas, and wide flat valleys.
