This main channel in Peace Vallis has evidence of multiple fluvial events in the ancient past. Obtaining this observation for a stereo pair can allow for the creation of a digital terrain model that will greatly enhance the ability to determine information about the fluvial history of this feature. Peace Vallis is an ancient stream valley on the northern rim of Gale Crater.
