A Recent Impact Site
Identifying new impacts on Mars often begins with noticing dark spots in Context Camera images, another instrument on MRO with a larger footprint than HiRISE but with lower resolution. This impact formed at most between February 2006 and March 2014, but other data could narrow that range.
