A 2007 HiRISE image shows very finely branched channels running west to east in this observation. Inverted channels crosscut negative-relief channels and stratigraphic relations are complex. A stereo pair will help to unscramble the relationship to local topography and determine the influence of present-day tilt. We can also study slope-area relations and drainage divides.
