Mantle along the Rim of Mie Crater
The objective of this observation is to examine what appears in a Context Camera image to be mantled material moving off parts of the northern rim of Mie Crater. The material is visible along its edge in this view. Viking Lander 2 touched down near the 100-kilometer diameter cater in 1976.
