Lava Plains near Claritas Fossae

Lava Plains near Claritas Fossae
This image shows a rough, sand-dune like terrain. This could’ve possibly been caused by lava flow creating lava plains, or it could be due to the process where winds could transport, erode, or deposit sand material to new places causing this dune effect. Claritas Fossae is a group of troughs located to the south of Tharsis Montes in the Northern Hemisphere of Mars.
