Sinuous Ridge and Channel through Ice Rich Terrain

Sinuous Ridge and Channel through Ice Rich Terrain

A Ridge and Channel through Ice Rich Terrain
A sinuous ridge and associated channels emerge from ice-rich material, which has subsequently been disrupted by a young impact crater. The sinuous ridge appears to pay little regard to topography, so high-resolution analysis of topography and stratigraphic relationships to young ice deposits will allow us to better understand whether it formed by subaerial or subglacial water flows, or as a moraine.
