This previously unidentified sinuous ridge from a recent global survey is part of a follow-up to test for a possible fluvial origin and determine the depositional setting of previously unmapped ridges across Mars. Identifying these types of fluvial ridges outside of craters is key for reconstructing ancient sedimentary basins as well learning about the past climate.
