The objective of this observation is to examine gullies in a crater. Images like this help to increase our inventory and understanding of Martian gullies so that perhaps improved models can be constructed. This particular image is special because the gullies begin at two different levels. This crater is located within a much larger one, and some of the gullies seem to be from the floor material; others seem to be from material that came off the bigger crater’s wall.
