Hebes Chasma Climbing Dunes

Hebes Chasma Climbing Dunes

Those Climbing Dunes
This observation features some awesome little barchan train climbing up a gully in Hebes Chasma. Some of our science goals are to quantify annual changes, sand fluxes and monitor nearby recurring slope lineae. Hebes Chasma is an isolated chasma just north of the Valles Marineris canyon system of Mars.
