Unique Color Coverage of Nili Fossae Megabreccia

Abounding in Megabreccia!
This image offers us unique color coverage of the beautifully exposed and sharp-edged megabreccias. Nili Fossae has long been a perennial runner-up choice for possible landing spots for exploration. Megabreccia are very large clasts of broken up rock, and the ones in this observation appear be layered and have structure. MRO has discovered that rocks in Nili Fossae contain carbonate minerals.
