Light-toned material has been observed by the Context Camera and potentially reflects low-calcium pyroxene that indicates pristine crustal material exposed in this location. This is an area of interest for a potential future rotorcraft mission traverse (Mars Science Helicopter) which would explore this and other terrains in situ.
