Cones in Galaxias Fossae

Cones in Galaxias Fossae

Cones in Galaxias Fossae
The objective of this observation is to examine a group of cones that are in a shallow valley. Some have suggested that these features are mud volcanoes. These are in locations where watery sediments seep onto the surface. Because of Mars’ low temperatures and pressures, the mud quickly freezes.
