This stunning image shows part of a massive dune field located near the center of the even larger Lomonosov Crater, a 120-kilometer diameter (75 mi) result of a massive impactor that was possibly similar in size to the one that struck the Yucatan Peninsula 66 million years ago. This image was requested for seasonal dune and frost monitoring, which is clearly visible.
