The objective of this observation is to examine a series of ridges. There are many ridge networks in this region of Nilosyrtis Mensae, which has numerous channels and valleys carving through the terrain. This image shows a few ridges that seem to have just been exposed by erosion. Pictures like this could help us tell what time period the ridge networks were formed.
