This image covers a pattern of cross-cutting ridges just east of the Licus Vallis main channel, and is most likely a continuation of a series of ridges that continue to the western side of Licus Vallis. This HiRISE image will help to determine if there is a relationship between the fluvial terraces of Licus Vallis and the surrounding geology and lithology.
