Most suspected chloride deposits (based on a distinctive THEMIS instrument signature) in the Eridania Basin are high-albedo and found in flattish areas. Around the eastern rim of the basin, some of these chlorides are distinctively low-albedo, and found in channels. High resolution imagery will be able to resolve some channel stratigraphy.
