Lava Flow in Northern Mid-Latitudes

Lava, Meet Mound
Also visible in Context Camera data, the objective of this observation is to examine a lava flow as it approached a mound and appears to have stopped at that point. Pictures like this may help us to determine how viscous the flow is. This location to the direct east of the large Alba Patera shield volcano on Mars.
