Cone near Solis Dorsa

Cone near Solis Dorsa

A Lonely Martian Cone
The focus of this observation is a cone near Solis Dorsa that has a hint of an unresolved summit crater in THEMIS instrument data. This is likely a cinder cone, and seems associated with a dark patch in THEMIS nighttime infrared data. We want to compare with other possible cinder cones elsewhere. We can also look for boulders and bedding not mantled by any dust.
