The objective of this observation is to determine the nature of a group of ridges, troughs, and pits. They have a certain shape that repeats over and over, that may be affected by the change in the valley’s direction at this point. Besides changing direction, the valley is becoming wider here. One or both of these factors may modify the pattern of the ridges and the troughs. Our image will give us a detailed look.
